Cadenza Strings provides live music (string quartet, trio, duo and more!) for weddings and receptions. We offer a variety of musical styles, from classical through to pops and jazz.

Founded in 2004 by violinist Brenna Hardy-Kavanagh and cellist Sonya Matoussova, Cadenza Strings maintains a roster of experienced musicians recognized for their talent, dedication, and high standard of playing.

Trained at some of the most prestigious music schools throughout Canada and the United States, including McGill University, the Glenn Gould School, and the Juilliard School of Music, they have also studied at many highly acclaimed summer institutions, including the Banff Centre for the Arts (Banff, Alberta), National Academy Orchestra (Hamilton, Ontario), and Schleswig-Holstein Orchestral Academy (Schleswig-Holstein, Germany).
